For the first time in history, New Zealand had earlier achieved the number one spot in the ICC Test Team Rankings after they clean-sweep the Pakistan and West Indies.
After the draw, both India and Australia bagged 10 points each, which helped the visitor become the first side to cross the 400-point mark in the WTC standings.
India, however, stayed behind Australia in second place, as positions are now determined by the percentage of points won.
