Shane Warne BBL star

Shane Warne back Melbourne Renegades, Peter Hatzoglou, draws attention when the IPL auction gets underway next month. The Australian said that the bowling style of Peter Hatzoglou makes him an enticing proposition on Indian wickets.

One of Big Bash's breakout stars this season was the Renegades star. After being selected as a local replacement, Peter Hatzgolou has gone from strength to strength, and his latest performance brought him to 9th position in this year's wicket-taking charts. He now has 16 wickets from this season's 12 games.

As he spoke on Fox Cricket about the 22-year-IPL old's prospects, Shane Warne was in awe of Peter Hatzoglou's performances this season.

The rise of Peter Hatzoglou was meteoric. He played third-grade premier cricket at Melbourne University a couple of years ago, and now he's the talk of the community. Shane Warne, a leggie famous for bowling at pace, is left fascinated with the bowling style of Hatzoglou.

In the IPL, Australian spinners did not perform. But Shane Warne believes that the coming IPL 2021 could change Peter Hatzoglou. The fact that he is hard to score off can work to his advantage, Shane Warne feels.

Shane Warne was not the only former cricketer left that Peter Hatzoglou was impressed by. Michael Hussey, an IPL veteran, agreed with Shane Warne, explaining how batsmen may struggle to score against a man with the same number of BBL wickets this season as Rashid Khan.
